A unique leadership coaching toolkit

I am the only person in New Zealand with this combination of qualifications, which I’ve cultivated with great intention. This is a uniquely multi-layered, multi-sensory approach to leadership and wellbeing, for sustained, embodied change.

I can offer any single modality, though the beauty of working with me is I naturally layer these for more meaningful discovery and sustained, embodied change.

My speciality is helping people navigate transitions in work and life—whether they be career moves, relationship recalibrations, health journeys, hormonal changes, even end of life. Knowing your worth and holding yourself steady—authentically, courageously—smoothes the ride.

GALLUP CliftonStrengths®

I use and am qualified to coach with Gallup’s CliftonStrengths assessment, which is renowned for bringing clarity to who you are, and what you naturally do best. It’s about building strengths not fixing weakness; it’s positive, practical and the most personalised personality assessment I’ve ever encountered. Over 30 million people worldwide and 90% of the world’s Fortune 500s use this assessment and coaching method to celebrate diversity, improve engagement and wellbeing, and invite people to lead authentically.

I lead with the strengths: Maximiser, Positivity, Relator, Futuristic, Connectedness

Heart Centered®

I was selected by Danielle herself to be on the team that developed and tested this programme. Heart centered living is about going from reactive to a reflective life. Getting in touch with your heart helps calm your nervous system. With a calmer nervous system, you think more clearly and connect more meaningfully. Danielle is a member of Oprah’s SuperSoul 100the former director of a future studies think tank in Washington and a world leader in collective heart intelligence. It’s my great honour to talk and work with her, and share these practices with you.

My intended embodiment is: Molten, Moxie, Magnetic and I’m most often told of my grounding voice.

Narrative Therapy

I am certified in narrative therapy by the world’s pre-eminent home of narrative therapy, the Dulwich Centre. This practice views problems as separate from people and assumes people have many skills, competencies, beliefs, values, commitments and abilities that will assist them to reduce the influence of problems in work and life. It centres people as the experts in their own lives and offers strategies in remembrance and re-authoring, inviting people to create and enliven their preferred identity. It is both reflective and empowering and can be used as an independent and collective practice.

Dare To Lead

The Dare to Lead training is a courage-building program based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The curriculum teaches the skills, practices, and tools that underpin the four skill sets of courage: Rumbling with Vulnerability, Living into Our Values, Braving Trust, and Learning to Rise. I’m also licensed in the Emotional Culture workshop and these pathways of enquiry are particularly dynamic together. As with all my coaching and workshops, I integrate the most essential of all my training to custom create a transformational experience.

Yoga & Meditation

I’m a Yoga Alliance accredited teacher (RYT500) – this means I have 500+ hours of yoga teacher training under my belt, having taught in NZ at Jaya Yoga, Golden Yogi, lulu lemon and privately. I’ve continued to train, most recently in ’embodied flow’. My philosophy is that yoga is for everyone and every body, no matter age, shape, or flexibility—and it’s not always about movement, it’s also about stillness. It’s a way to access true presence, to release tension, to quiet the mind so you can hear the whispers of your own heart, supporting you to live and lead authentically.

Emotional Culture

Culture is traditionally defined as ’the way we do things around here’. But what we ‘do’ is driven by thoughts and feelings and given meaning with language. This is often forgotten as businesses agree cultural norms. The Emotional Culture Deck is a fun tool to help answer the question: how do we want to feel around here? With my heart-centered training and yoga & meditation background, I extend this to: and, what energy do we want to create around here? We play the game and go deep to call in our personal strengths that will help, and to embody the desired feelings and energy. Multi-layered!

What others are saying about Tui

“Tui has a wealth of expertise…

“I first met Tui when she attended my Yoga Teacher Training. What I perceived from her was an existing level of knowledge and understanding around mindfulness and wellbeing, which shined through in her teaching straight away. Tui has a wealth of expertise: from yoga, to women’s wellbeing, to lifestyle support, she has so much to offer. Tui’s ability to bring accessibility to the practices of yoga means that anyone, of any level of capability will be made to feel nourished and supported under her guidance. Having been in the industry for over 15 years, I recognize a natural ability to act intuitively with students whilst providing them a space of healing, and Tui is full of this gift.”

– Jennifer Allen, founder JayaYoga

“She is extraordinarily gifted.

“Tui worked with me over several months to introduce me to meditation and life skills management.  The program was well structured and thorough.  The delivery was exceptional.  Tui spent hours with me gently guiding me, and during that time I came to know Tui as a highly skilled, sincere, caring and empathetic practitioner and life coach.  I came away feeling confident in using the learnings in my daily life and the knowledge that at any time I could reconnect with Tui for further coaching.  I am already reaping the rewards on my investment in Tui and her teachings.  She is extraordinarily gifted.”

– Mark Gray, husband, father, business owner

“She is an activator of others, with magnetism as a leader and coach.

“Tui’s greatest gift is her wisdom, compassion and understanding of people, especially mums. She is also inspirational as she made her dream a reality which is no mean feat, and this gives her credibility as an activator of others, and magnetism as a leader and coach. I recommend her to all my clients.”
